D\u2019importantes quantit\u00e9s de mati\u00e8res r\u00e9siduelles provenant de sources diverses (domestiques, industrielles, mat\u00e9riaux de construction, etc.) y ont \u00e9t\u00e9 enfouies. Les eaux capt\u00e9es sont ensuite dirig\u00e9es vers un syst\u00e8me de traitement con\u00e7u pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 des exigences strictes de performance environnementale.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deux axes guident le projet :&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assurer le confinement hydraulique en maintenant un rabattement contr\u00f4l\u00e9 de la nappe phr\u00e9atique.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Garantir la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019eau rejet\u00e9e en respectant les crit\u00e8res applicables gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un traitement adapt\u00e9 aux contaminants pr\u00e9sents.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>M\u00e9thodes de confinement<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Le confinement repose sur une barri\u00e8re hydraulique compos\u00e9e de 31 puits de pompage, r\u00e9partis sur environ 1,2 kilom\u00e8tre. Ce dispositif cr\u00e9e une zone de captage continue qui intercepte les eaux souterraines avant leur r\u00e9surgence vers le fleuve.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La performance du confinement est v\u00e9rifi\u00e9e au moyen d\u2019un r\u00e9seau de 67 puits d\u2019observation instrument\u00e9s, permettant un suivi pi\u00e9zom\u00e9trique en continu. Les donn\u00e9es recueillies servent \u00e0&nbsp;confirmer l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 du rabattement et \u00e0 ajuster l\u2019exploitation du syst\u00e8me au besoin. Cette approche combine ing\u00e9nierie hydraulique, instrumentation et gestion adaptative.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Proc\u00e9d\u00e9 de traitement<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Les eaux pomp\u00e9es sont achemin\u00e9es vers une unit\u00e9 de traitement comprenant plusieurs \u00e9tapes compl\u00e9mentaires :&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Syst\u00e8me d\u2019oxydation, visant la transformation de certains compos\u00e9s dissous ;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Filtres \u00e0 sable, pour l\u2019\u00e9limination des particules en suspension ;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Syst\u00e8me de gestion des boues ;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Filtres \u00e0 manchon ;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Filtre d\u2019UltrasorptionMD&nbsp;;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Filtre \u00e0 charbon activ\u00e9 en grains (CAG) ;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Filtres \u00e0 z\u00e9olite ;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Traitement biologique de type&nbsp;MBBR (<em>Moving&nbsp;Bed&nbsp;Biofilm&nbsp;Reactor<\/em>)&nbsp;permettant l\u2019enl\u00e8vement de l\u2019azote ammoniacal par nitrification.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 biologique constitue un \u00e9l\u00e9ment central du syst\u00e8me. Il favorise la conversion de l\u2019ammoniac en nitrates gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019action de micro-organismes fix\u00e9s sur des supports mobiles. Les op\u00e9rations sont appuy\u00e9es par des automates industriels et un syst\u00e8me d\u2019acquisition de donn\u00e9es assurant un suivi continu des param\u00e8tres d\u2019exploitation et de performance.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Performance et r\u00e9sultats<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Depuis sa mise en service, le syst\u00e8me traite en moyenne environ 300 m\u00b3 d\u2019eau par jour. Au total, plus de 800 000 m\u00b3 d\u2019eau ont \u00e9t\u00e9 trait\u00e9s depuis 2017, soit l\u2019\u00e9quivalent d\u2019environ 320 piscines olympiques.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce volume illustre concr\u00e8tement l\u2019ampleur des efforts d\u00e9ploy\u00e9s pour prot\u00e9ger le fleuve Saint-Laurent et assurer un confinement efficace des eaux souterraines. Au-del\u00e0 des volumes trait\u00e9s, la performance environnementale du syst\u00e8me se distingue par sa constance et sa robustesse :&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Efficacit\u00e9 moyenne de nitrification d\u2019environ 99,6 % au cours des cinq derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es ;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Concentrations d\u2019azote ammoniacal dans l\u2019eau trait\u00e9e atteignant r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des valeurs&nbsp;sous les inf\u00e9rieures aux&nbsp;limites de d\u00e9tection du laboratoire.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces r\u00e9sultats t\u00e9moignent d\u2019un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 ma\u00eetris\u00e9, stable et optimis\u00e9 en continu. Ils refl\u00e8tent \u00e9galement l\u2019expertise technique mobilis\u00e9e par l\u2019\u00e9quipe de projet ainsi que la fiabilit\u00e9 des infrastructures mises en place.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Par sa performance durable et mesurable, le syst\u00e8me contribue activement \u00e0 la protection des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes aquatiques du fleuve Saint-Laurent, tout en d\u00e9montrant l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 d\u2019une approche int\u00e9gr\u00e9e combinant&nbsp;le&nbsp;confinement hydraulique,&nbsp;le&nbsp;traitement avanc\u00e9 et&nbsp;le&nbsp;suivi en temps r\u00e9el.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Quelques chiffres cl\u00e9s<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>31 puits de pompage&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>67 puits d\u2019observation&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1,2 km de barri\u00e8re hydraulique&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>300 m\u00b3\/j trait\u00e9s en moyenne&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Plus de 800 000 m\u00b3 trait\u00e9s depuis 2013&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>99,6 % d\u2019efficacit\u00e9 moyenne de nitrification&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"6\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dur\u00e9e et port\u00e9e du projet<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet s\u2019inscrit dans un horizon \u00e0 long terme, couvrant la p\u00e9riode&nbsp;de&nbsp;<strong>2013 \u00e0 2031<\/strong>. Il comprend la conception initiale, la construction des infrastructures, ainsi que l\u2019exploitation, l\u2019entretien et l\u2019optimisation continue du syst\u00e8me.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette d\u00e9marche illustre une approche int\u00e9gr\u00e9e de gestion environnementale combinant expertise en hydrog\u00e9ologie, ing\u00e9nierie&nbsp;du&nbsp;traitement des eaux et suivi op\u00e9rationnel rigoureux.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"7\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Une mobilisation d\u2019expertise<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Le succ\u00e8s du projet repose sur une \u00e9quipe multidisciplinaire compos\u00e9e de sp\u00e9cialistes en ing\u00e9nierie, hydrog\u00e9ologie, exploitation, sant\u00e9 et s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et soutien technique. Cette collaboration permet d\u2019assurer la performance du syst\u00e8me, la conformit\u00e9 r\u00e9glementaire et la protection durable du fleuve Saint-Laurent.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div
